About Kelsey Tuia

Hi, I'm Kelsey Tuia, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals, couples, teens, kids, and families in Orem and virtually across Utah. I specialize in addiction recovery, trauma, relationship challenges, and the kind of deep personal work that asks you to look honestly at who you are and who you want to become. I bring warmth, humor, and a no-judgment approach to every session — because healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself.

I know what it's like to be on the other side of the chair. As someone in recovery myself, I understand firsthand what it takes to break free from cycles of pain, shame, and self-doubt. That lived experience shapes everything about how I show up as a therapist. I don't just understand addiction clinically — I understand the courage it takes to face it, and the hope that's waiting on the other side. Whether you're in the thick of it or rebuilding after it, I'll walk alongside you without judgment.

I work with a wide range of people — teens navigating identity and relationships, kids struggling with big emotions, moms and dads trying to hold it all together, couples working to reconnect, and adults doing the hard work of personal growth and recovery. My approach blends Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused techniques, always starting from a strengths-based perspective. You are more capable than you know, and my job is to help you find your way back to that belief.

Whatever is bringing you to therapy — addiction, family stress, relationship struggles, trauma, or simply feeling stuck — you deserve a space that's honest, compassionate, and free of shame. That's exactly what I aim to create.
